Joyce Inderbitzin has been creating art for over thirty years, progressing through successive stages of development in the clay medium. Joyce feels that clay is an essential element of nature. Her artwork, therefore, is influenced by and reflects natural forms. A one on one relationship with the clay can be seen in her stoneware,be it functional, sculpture,or raku. Joyce creates in Keystone Studio in Yardley, PA. You may order her work online, by mail, or in person at her studio / gallery. You may contact Joyce using email.

Artist's statement: To me art is a visual expression of some inner concept important enough for the artist to want to share with others. Usually it is an experience or feeling to which most people can relate. Clay is my medium to do this. It is most flexible and expressive. Each clay has different qualities, characteristics and possibilities. Function follows form. Form is the most important part of making a vessel of any sort. The piece itself needs to be pleasing, balanced and well designed. Glaze never fixes a shape. It enhances it.
