NEW STUDIO/GALLERY OPENS

Joyce Inderbitzin teamed up with George Michael to create a beautiful new art center in Union Square. There are five spacious rooms for local artists to create and show their own work, allowing them to be in direct contact with the public to describe their media and processes.

This art center is called "Artists at the Square" and is located next to the new branch of the Michener Museum. Union Square is located in New Hope off Bridge Street, one block up from Main Street, just past the railroad tracts.

Artistic Attitudes Gallery is the first studio/gallery to open and is holding a Grand Opening Event. Joyce Inderbitzin will be showing her signature cut rim stoneware, plus exquisite raku combining matte and gloss, textured and smooth surfaces on unique vessels. Sally Baldino, also from Yardley, has rendered Tuscany in all it's splendor in her beautiful watercolors. She also is showing many local scenes delicately expressed with her brush. Neat Knots, a new up and coming fiber team, Lynne Hoffman and Kristin Grady, add a fiber dimension to the gallery with original and innovative patterns of hats, bags, scarves and much more. You can meet the artists and view their art work.

Grand Opening Reception is Friday, November 12, 6-9 PM, followed by two more days Saturday, November 13, 12-6 PM and Sunday, November 14, 12-5 PM to celebrate this event. For more information call 215-862-2191 or 215-493-5689.

2002 INTRODUCTIONS

NORTHERN LIGHTS JAR: This round full jar has beautiful swirling colors across this side and dark mysterious hues on the other. The lid is cut in a flowing line and the handle finish the piece in a playful manner.
RAW COPPER: This fine piece from my acorn series is dark and rich with full slightly rough coppery texture. Small gold cord and clay beads give add a jeweled look.
WINGED STAR NEBULA I: Fire reds and oranges bless this robust modestly textured vessel. The blues running through the body and adorning the appendages and rim, compliment these intense colors.
BLUE & COPPER NEBULA: This vessel stands tall with stunning colors in a full circle around it. Three indented marks with three applied cameos accent the textured sides. I added silver nitrate to the rim giving a silvery luminous effect.
